TOI-1853b Detection

Using transit photometry, I captured a light curve confirming the exoplanet TOI-1853b. Data was acquired with a mono sensor and custom pipeline for precise time series analysis.

SDR Weather Satellite Capture

A portable SDR setup lets me receive NOAA satellite passes using rooftop antennas and decode live weather data from orbit — all controlled with open-source tools.

Custom Telescope Mount Control

I engineered a high-speed telescope mount capable of fast slewing and precision tracking for satellites and solar system objects. Powered by ESP32 and Teensy with custom firmware.

High-Speed ISS Tracking

Captured the ISS with Crew-6, Progress 83, and Soyuz MS-23 docked, using my custom tracking mount and real-time TLE data. The mount locks on and follows at over 1°/second with pinpoint precision.

James Webb Space Telescope at L2

I imaged JWST on its journey to L2 orbit using my custom tracking system. The gif shows it gliding through the stars — a glimpse at humanity's most ambitious telescope in motion.

Tracking Makemake

Recorded the dwarf planet Makemake drifting through the stars with its orbital track overlaid. Captured over hours with careful alignment and guiding — more than 6 billion km from Earth.

🎮 Nightfire: The Last Command

A retro-style Python arcade game where you pilot the last surviving Star Destroyer in a final stand against rebel swarms. Built using Pygame with responsive controls, wave scaling, and a dramatic story mode.

🔧 Astrocalibrator: FITS Image Pipeline

Astrocalibrator is a GUI-driven Python tool for FITS calibration. It automates dark/flat/bias correction, handles multi-filter imaging, aligns WCS headers, and supports stacking & plate solving — ideal for astrophotography automation.

📡 Doppler Drift in Technosignature Detection

My May 2025 research paper explores the risk of missing deliberately Doppler-stabilized alien transmissions in SETI. Proposes a tiered detection model based on a civilization's ability to compensate for Earth's motion.
